Working as a research and teaching assistant to professors in the Finance and Economics Department at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), Étienne was also a columnist and economic journalist for the university’s newspaper. For many years, Étienne has been giving back to the community. Among his many volunteer commitments, he was appointed president of Coopsco Trois-Rivières’s board of directors after having served as a director on the board of the Fédération québécoise des coopératives en milieux scolaires.

Étienne is involved in the development of international marketing plans and strategic information research for companies. He also contributes to the development and automation of research tools. His in-depth knowledge of economics and politics provides the companies he coaches with a nuanced perspective of the export markets they are targeting.
